Melanie Haase

Melanie Haase, principal of MHMarketing, has been in the advertising agency and marketing business for more than 25 years. After a brief stint out of college as a personnel manager, Melanie joined a healthcare ad agency in New York City (now Grey Healthcare) and quickly rose in the Account Management ranks. After relocating to San Francisco, Melanie became a client favorite at RKR, an Ominicom healthcare agency.

She has successfully managed accounts for a number of corporations large, medium, and small. The best-known include Pfizer (Lipitor, Viagra, Celebrex), Visa USA, Sola Optical, Siemens, and Bristol-Myers Squibb (Nuprin and Bufferin). She even became an expert on brain surgery for Elekta Instruments.

Filling an Unmet Need

After realizing there was an unmet need for local clients wanting competent, experienced, yet efficient senior project management, Melanie celebrated Y2K by starting her own company and supporting Pfizer's Northern California Local Market Team. Since 2007, Melanie's primary focuses have been as acting Director of Marketing for East Bay's Affinity Medical Group, and their many provider facilities. She has also created a number of highly-successful marketing, web, and email campaigns for local small businesses and for select Mill Valley, CA public schools.

Melanie lives in Marin County, California with her technically-talented husband Jonathan Schwartz and their two children. They hope to welcome a new cat to their family in the fall.
